01. Legoland Malaysia

As the name indicates, this theme park is filled with various rides and attractions, all constructed out of Lego Bricks. It is the first international theme park in Malaysia and attracts thousands of tourists of all age groups year after year.



Highlights
 – Everything that you touch here, gives you a hands-on experience. You will be able to push, create, dismantle or assemble just anything that you see. There is a Water Park, Wave Pool, Joker Soaker and Build-A-Raft here.

Location
 – Johor Bahru. Activities – Miniland (Landmarks of Asia created out of Lego bricks), Beginning (huge selection of Lego Toys), Ride through Lego Kingdoms with an interesting roller coaster and a host of indoor activities.

Price –
 1 Day ticket price when purchased on the day of visit for combo adult pack is RM225 and for combo Child or Senior Citizen it is RM180.

Timings
 – Open from 10AM to 7PM on all days of the week.

 

02. Sunway Lagoon Theme Park, Petaling Jaya

If you are looking for an experience replete with fun and excitement, you must visit Sunway Lagoon Theme Park in Malaysia. The place is apt for tourists of all age groups as it has a wide variety of attractions.

Highlights
 – There are over 80 attractions in this theme park, which is set up at a sprawling area of 88 acres. Park is divided into five areas based on adventure experience – Water Park, Amusement Park, Wildlife Park, Extreme Park and Scream Park.

03. Genting Highlands Theme Park

Genting Highlands is one of the reputed names in the hospitality and theme park industry in the world. Located right in the middle of the Angrek City, this theme park is the first recreational theme park and is suitable for people of all age groups. It has been provide safe and exciting rides to adults and kids right from 1996 onwards.

 During 2011, this park was bestowed with awards like “Best Small Water Park” and “First Green Water Park”. Apart from providing various exciting rides to tourists, this park also arranges for hosting private and corporate functions as the hospitality and food at this place is excellent.

08. A'Famosa Theme Park

09. Skytrex Adventure, Selangor

Have you heard the concept of sky-trekking from tree to tree? If it sounds like a concept out of fantasy world for you, you should visit Skytrex Adventure Theme Park in Malaysia.

Highlights – 
You will get to enjoy various aerial adventure activities like flying, swinging, gliding, dangling and other forest adventure activities when you come here. Clear categorisation of activities based on difficulty levels – Little Adventure, Big Thrill and Extreme Challenge.

KidZania is one of the biggest names in the world today, when it comes to empowering kids through interactive and entertaining indoor workshops. It has its presence in many countries including Kuala Lumpur.

 – 3rd Kidzania in South East Asia and 11th in the world. Safety of kids is the primary focus here. The park is compatible for wheelchair bound children as well. Security personnel are available 24/7 to take care of kids.

12. Little Big Club at Puteri Harbor

Located on the second and third floors of Puteri Harbour, Little Big Club is one of the reputed indoor theme parks in Malaysia, apt for kids who love to see their favourite TV characters here.

13. Bungee Jumping at Xtreme Park

Bungy jumping might not be for everyone, but if you’d like a taste of how it is, head over to Malaysia’s first permanent bungy jump attraction, right in the middle of Sunway Lagoon theme park. 

One of the main attractions in the Xtreme Park, the bungy jump here sees brave souls leaping from the world’s longest pedestrian suspension bridge. This is among one of the best things to do in Kuala Lumpur.

Jumpers need to be in between 35kg to 285kg, ten years of age or older, and get to choose either to be strapped the traditional way (at the ankles, with a body harness as a backup) or to be strapped at the waist. 

You can also opt to do the ‘wet touch’ (head touching the surface of the lake) or just the regular bungy jump.

14. Penang National Park

Penang National Park breaks the stigma around a national park being about plentiful animals and long jungles. This smallest national park in Malaysia is all about exploring nature by walking in its trails where you can spot some animals like monkeys and giant lizards.

Here’s the amazing part- it all leads to a beach! That is one of a kind, where you get to sunbathe in almost privacy, swing on the beachside, visit the lighthouse and picnic. The Kerachut beach here is home to thousands of turtles with whom you can spend some time if you are lucky.

15. Tunku Abdul Rahman Park, Kota Kinabalu

The Tunku Abdul Rahman Park is a group of five different islands, which include Pulau Gaya, Pulau Sapi, Pulau Manukan, Pulau Mamutik and Pulau Sulug. There are various beach activities that the Tunku Abdul Rahman Park organizes. However, all these beach activities require a prior booking.

You can also indulge in various water sports like snorkeling, scuba diving, and witness the beautiful coral and marine life of the island. The island tours can be booked on the spot from where you will take your ferries.

Location: The Tunku Abdul Rahman Park is just 20 minutes boat ride from the Kota Kinabalu.

How To Reach: The Jesselton Jetty ferry terminal consistently operates the boats to the Island, which takes around 20 minutes to reach there.

18. Movie Animation Park Studios

Movie Animation Park Studios is the First Animation Theme Park of Asia which was built at a Price of RM 520. It is sited as the most entertaining and exciting destination for people irrespective of the age group.

Highlights:
With 6 thematic zones and 40 attractions, Movie Animation Park Studios is an indoor park. It is fully air conditioned or under covered, thereby shielding the guests from the hot, humid and wet weather of Malaysia.
